Hi all found today a rear anti roll link has snapped plus the shock absorbers has been leaking oil
Any advice what parts will be needed plus best place to buy
Freelander 2 07 2.2 diesel
Thanks in advance

You'll need drop links and shocks. Advanced Factors will supply both in OE quality at a very reasonable price. I got my OE shock from them, which was about £120 for the pair.
The nearside took me about 2 hours to change, but that included removing the boot trims, and marking the strut top mounts for correct refitting.
The offside took about 1½ hours, which included refitting the the boot trim panels.
The hardest part is getting the strut out the hub carrier, which takes lots of hitting with a copper hammer, but the rest of the operation is easy to do.

The trick with the clamp is to spread the slot open with a sort stout chisel hammered into the slot.
This spreads the clamp, helping the strut slide out.
I put a this piece of timber below the strut, and hammered the hub assembly downwards.
You'll also need to remove the bottom wishbone bolt, so you can get enough movement to release the strut.
It sounds difficult, but it's not really.

Job done what a pain in the a..
Took me 3hrs yesterday rain stopped play
The another 3 hrs today with replacing the boot trim
The ride is totally different in celebration took it for a mot passed no advisories
Thanks
