Rear OS Door. (trouble closing)

The check strap on the door prevents the door from closing, because where it is connected to the link in the B pillar (small triangular connection) has excesive movement, what holds that part of the connection and is there an easy fix. I can close the door if I sit in the back seat holding the triangular link forward while pulling the door shut.
