Rear number plate light
Noticed bulb has blown and the black wire coming from the back of the holder is unconnected to anything. Wire just dangles there, whispering "I'm gonna absorb your entire day, then set your fusebox on fire!"
Assuming this black wire is earth, can I simply splice it into the brake light earth or should I earth somewhere else?
There's the towbar wiring to consider, which someone has kindly disconnected, so I thought it might be worth a question just in case the number plate light on the vehicle somehow powers the number plate light on the tow plate.
Thanks in advance...again
