Currently my handbrake warning light is not working. I have a brand new 300tdi wirirng loom. I have checked the bulb and swapped for a known good one that is working in other warning lights. I have disconnected the switch wire and run it straight to earth and still get no warning light illuminated on the dash, am I correct in assuming that with the ignition on this should illuminate the warning light?
I have measured the voltage at the handbrake switch wire and it is at 6v which I assume is correct?
Can I also check which one the handbrake warning light is so I am looking at and changing the correct bulb. Is the handbrake warning light the "(P)" and not the one that says "park brake"?
