Disco 2 Rear lights breaking, common problem

hi, I'm not sure if it's a common issue but the bottom inside corner of my rear lights has broken off in the corner. Seen a few vehicles on eBay with it and wondered if it's a common issue from chassis movement. I'm going to buy some more but wanted to know if it would be a waste of time

no , they are a very brittle plastic

Hi mate
Do you mean the back lights in the bumper or rear back panel ? As mine has gone on the O/S/R panel (side light/reversing light)

I have put mine down to the shutting of the back door????? If and i mean IF i get a new one then i will not do the screws up to tight....

Hmmmmmmmmmmm, I thought this could be the case, Facelift lights are hard to find from breakers and they are not cheap. Half tempted to not get them but it just annoys me. I've forked out nearly 4K on it since last April
