rear heated window problem

Dam kids have been fiddling with the spade connector to the rear window element..

The spade connector has broken off the element..

Is there any way to reconnect?

Seen the paint to repair breaks in the element but can't find anything eppropriate to me problem..

Any advice would be much appreciated...

I don't know I managed to wrap mine around a telegraph pole the other week and there was no-one else anywhere near me, I can't even blame iton me swerving to miss something

Will a dribble of solder work?

You might need something other than solder, the stuff on the window is usually a silver heat cured compound (silk screened on then cooked in oven to cure) and does not solder. Depends on where break has occurred. Looking at the picture get a new rear window about £40 to £50m + fitting.
Or try a REAR WINDOW DEMISTER HEATER REPAIR Conductive paint Silver Glue heated Kit Fix | eBay
No guarantee that this will work either.
