mines a bit dodgy due to the wheel carrier....as anyone close by got one for sale....been on ebay but all too far etc....will be putting the wheel back on but prefer an unwheeled version etc

I have been looking for one for a while. Looking on ebay a lot of them seemed to come from up your way,it may be worth waiting a while to see what else comes up. I have bought a brand new never been fitted unglased one for £35.00 and then fitted a heated glass. Well pleased with the result.

thats a bargain mate.....mines a bit battered and bent so really another one would be best

yeh, lol that was the plan. would puttin a plate on the back help? spread the load on the door panel? and/or weld some struts to the main door bars?

It has a plate already. that comes with it. the problem is the weight of the wheel levers the carrier down and cracks the vertical bars. welding an angle iron or U channel over the vertical bars stops them from bending and then cracking.

clamp it to the back of the rear bulkhead (the one behind the seats) - theres a standard orginal brackety thing designed for the task

i have a pretty much mint rear door but i cant let it go til i source one of them there half uns. dont spose you have one of them do ya? im workin in garforth for the next couple of weeks so travelling to pick it up shouldnt be a problem!
