Yesterday I was working at my dads house while he was at work. I heard him coming down his long drive in his two ton pick up about 6 p.m. Next thing BANG! he backs straight into the disco with rear door wide open." I didnt Know it was there" he said. W.T.F ! He hit it end on and it pushed the lock mechanism back and the inside door panel.Managed to shut the door but now it will not open  Totally ****ed off now. How easy is it to replace with a door from a scrapper ?

Dead easy.
Two man job though as they are HEAVY.

Just a case of taking the 6 bolts that hold it in place and removing the circlip that holds the bottom runner in place.
Oh, and you'll need to unplug the loom from within the door itself which is probably the most time consuming part of the job. (Do this first otherwise the person holding the weight of the door will get angry with you quite quickly. :D )

Thanks for the info. So I take it that you replace the whole unit including the hinges then ?
There is a Landy breaker near where I live so will give him a ring and see if he has got one my colour or its a re spray job.
Any idea of how much I should pay for a rear door [my dad said he would pay for it ] :D

Thanks Mark, I had a look but nothing near Manchester area. Will have to put up with using back passenger door to get in the back for now.[I use it as work vehicle with rear seats folded forward.
