rear diff

Hi

New to this but had a freelander for about a year thought my vcu was on its way out done the line test seems fine when i jack up the car i can turn the rear wheel with no effort looking for anyones thoughts on this is it a shot diff thanks

You haven't said what symptoms are present with this problem.

Hi may seem obvious but have you got it in gear when trying to turn the rear wheel ?

Just one rear wheel should be off the ground.

done the one wheel of the ground spins very freely with no effort

i need two new front wheel sensors have the 3 orange lights on the dash tc abs hdc! but should not make any difference to the rear diff the last dump of snow we had in feb the car could not even get up a hill any thoughts on this looks like a diff problem to me unless you guys know better
