As I see it, the rear seats are held in with six torx screws each, five are easy to undo but the rear bottom ones are blocked by the plastic lining, is there a special bent tool or something to get these or is it just a job for the mole grips??

I want to get the rear quarter linings out to finish sealing and painting the rear floor area.

theres no plastic trim coverin the torx in mine?
the bottom ones are a **** to get out.. i used a torx bit and put an 8mm spanner on the torx to turn it.. takes an age so get comfy b4 ya start...

it just takes a really really long time.. i did it both sides from a scrapper and then put em in mine.. did it kneelin in boot and could barely walk for the next 3 days.. lol

keep an eye on all the washers too.. and when ya puttin em back, make sure ya get the shoulders on the bolts through the washers or they go in all twisted an cross threaded.. or ya knacker the washers..

Update

It took about an hour to get these damn seats out!

For the concealed screws i had to use a small torx bit with a spanner on it, 1/4 turn at best each time :( A royal PITA.

Undo the two top screws first as it gives better access to the bottom screws.

Job done, now i can treat the edge of the floor panels.
Thanks all.
