hi, ive took on a project with this discovery 300tdi, it had alot of rust issues but i new this and took it on anyway as it was 500 pound, and had a full engine rebuild with new gearbox, clutch, transfer box 30,000 miles ago, brand new lift kit, poly bushed ect, so a good base when rust is gone, the rear inner arches are goin and sills, but thats ok i no there fairly easy to do,also abit of chassis welding is needed and ive had some done already but again thats not my worry as fairly easy, but i wont off roading and lost my bumper top cover and it showed me how much rust there really is and its worried me now as looks a BIG JOB, and seems that the bodys dropping as my doors badly catching on opening and its f**cked my bottom of my door 2 now, so its time for this work now
(need my back door), question is can it be done is it to bad ?? please help any opinions welcome im posting a few pics, and im in essex does anybody no of any good 4x4 welders to do the job as people are saying you can get it done for around 350 supplyed and fitted which is fair i think so im prepared to do it, !!!!! should i get a crossmember with extensions, do they have to cut it away from the body and reweld it ??
