rear axle

i am today gonna start stripping the axle from my army defender 90 as the rear diff has let go and come through the casing so ive just got a td5 complete rear axle and gonna swap it over i dont think it will be that hard to do ?, any thing to look out for while doing it, it already has rear disc on the landy as was running rangerover axles

make sure it same diff ratio as front

a mate of mine who breaks landys said they the ratio is the same in axles just different in the box

length of diff studs in casing

im changing the whole axle as the diff has let go big style and ripped through the rear casing, do i still have to measure the studs
