P38A Rear Air Bag replacement - bags are stuck!

Hi folks

Freesh from my sucess with the front bags yesterday I am doing the rears. I have the clips out but the top end of the bag seems stuck! Its there anything else holding it apart from the "R" clip?

Any advice gratefully received!

Just needed a bit of persuading!

Just done mine & had same problem. A pry bar slid between the narrow gap between the chassis & body & pushed upwards to force the airspring top mount down eventually popped it off. Just mind the other air pipe.

Yes know exactly where you were! Used exactly the same technique! My tip for getting the top clip back in was to tape it to a long screwdriver!

Amazing how plastic can stick with rust! I was convinced mine had metal top mounts whilst trying to get the first one out. Both my old clips broke getting them out so pushed the remaining bit through with an old tent peg (the same thing used to try & pull them out with a pair of needle nose pliers).
