Re work interior

After removing the rear seats of my 110 I want to start preparing for the placement of some noisekiller matting.
I ended up in some places with the below


So 2 questions
How would you close the holes in the bodywork?
How to tackle the oxidated aluminium? I want to paint it but guess it will need first some prepping.

Any advice much appreciated

rubber grommets

either clean spotlessly underneath and stick patch with aluminumcompatible liquid metal then fill top with same or rivet a patch on the top sealed under patch

Oh, erm. I fibreglass patched mine. Cheap, simples.

Tigerseal

Hi dan
Looked at the tigerseal - would you take a little alu plate and glue it with the tigerseal to the body , inside only?

Any sugestions on the prepping of the oxidated alu before Painting?

Well depends if the area is seen you can fill it and it would hold or put plate on and stick with tigerseal

Rubber grommets or a small piece of alluminium plate riveted and sealed with Tigerseal.
