Can't see why the ECU has lost sync
It's not like a battery in the fob has gone flat causing this as its just a transponder chip so no battery's to go flat
Open up the key and make sure the transponder chip is sitting properly in its slot at the front of the key. They can fall out of place
Try taking it out and holding it close to the ignition key slot and then try turning the key to start
