Piece of proverbial with one caveat. If you're replacing it from the
manifold there's a reasonable chance the nuts are siezed and you'll
break a stud off - if you haven't got a blowtorch to heat them up first
I'd suggest leaving it to a suitably equipped individual. And if you do
break one off it's easiest to remove the manifold and replace all the
studs at once.

You're welcome to do the job in my workshop with my gear, but there's a
slight matter of 12,000 intervening miles. :)

Just finished that job on mine, with the rear dampers. springs were done a
while back, front dampers for last MOT (same time as new turrets). Bushes
all seem OK.

I was supposed to be swapping the steering shaft lower UJ, but paddock's
sent me the wrong one. They sent what I ordered, based on their list, but
their list is wrong. Apparently the part is listed as an upper UJ, but it
don;t look much like that either - the joint looks similar, but the discos
at least have a rubber (presumably shock-absorbing) coupling in the shaft
which *appears* to be part of the joint. The joint they sent was NRC7387
(or equivalent), apparently the correct number is NRC7704. Which they're
going to send me when I send the wrong one back. I suggested that they get
their web-molisher to fix the error in the list... they were suitably
apologetic :)
