Hello to everyone 
I have to admit I have been somewhat of a traitor the last few years !
after owning a 95 300 tdi a 97 jap 300tdi auto and a 2002 Td5
ive been driving a Mondog estate for 4 years which to be fair has been a good car especially as I average 25 k miles per year !
but never has a week gone by when i didnt miss my first 300 tdi
the jap import was Ok the Td5 was a let down really.
Ive finally convinced myself I need another 300tdi a no BS car I can fix with spanners not a computer a car with parts i can repair rather than re programme !
As I am a little rusty with knowledge (Im sure Ill still find all the answers here)
just one question to kick off auto or manual ? I fancy an auto as the Jap import I had was surprisingly good off road
are the boxes reliable ?
