Have you got the 4x4 info screen? as a guy on the d3 forum used the pic to on the screen to set up his steering angle sensor.
Tyre pressures also cause all sorts of weird issues
All tyres same make/size/tread depth? if different makeS well worth actually measuring them.

Hi buddy

Is that in the secret screen section plse , , indeed would make life allot easier in knowing if it’s right or not

Ps, hope ur good mate

@gstuart

Think he’s talking about this 1. It comes up if you select 4x4 info in the menu and chose a mode I.e mud and ?

This shows on dash.

I know mine is from an L322 2011 and touch screen, so you may not have the dash pic, but think the nav/radio screen has the same stuff in it.

Not looked/ seen that info in the hidden menu.

Hi ,buddy

Cheers , no there’s another section hidden , I’ll find the link to see if it helps

4x4 screen is normally a software update activation

I remember comparing live battery voltage against my Gap & a DVM when I changed the battery which is actually very accurate (surprised) and to play with the rear camera on all the time just for a laugh.

Buts my brain goes fuzzy for anymore.

Alas I haven’t got the screen with mine being a base model , indeed those cheap plug in ones are also extremely good

my guess is drive shaft in the first instance and DSC kicking in after tracking re-alignment but the sensor is out of alignment

Remember cheap stuff first and a shaft is cheaper than the new computer!

maybe not though this forum but is there someone on the d3 forum that lives close with the computer that could check for you?

No 4x4 screen mate, tyres are matching all round and pressures checked last week before we towed the van. I'm running 36f/40r as it's loaded and towing regularly

I'm hoping driveshaft to be fair lol I'll do my best to diagnose it properly before throwing parts at it though.

Hasn't had tracking done since I've had it but could be out, nearside front tyre is wearing more than offside but pretty evenly. As I said earlier, dsc light doesn't come on when it happens but does that mean anything?

I think it's a mechanical component to be honest, just the way it feels and general rumbliness of drivetrain. I think it's unrelated but I can make a harmonic resonance sound if I hold it at certain revs, usually very light load after backing off the throttle. I feel like that's unrelated to the grind though.

Std 4x4 screen, I think std on top spec, can be programmed on mid spec.
Tbh once youve played with it once you never bother again!

We don’t use ours either it’s just pretty graphics does have some diagnostics use but limited.

When your in a place to need them modes I would rather look out the screen to watch what I am about to hit next:D

Few pics of last week, what the landy allows us to do. Disco does us proud on these little trips. We took the van to wem in Shropshire weekend before last and then to a nice club site in Kidderminster last weekend
