RDX BONNET

HI peeps,

Just bought a reinforced RDX bonnet and just noticed that it has no bonnet stay and just wondered if anybody else has this fitted what did they use to keep the bonnet up?

I can only assume that it uses the Puma stay which lives across the radiator and not on the underside of the bonnet like earlier vehicles?

I bought a (genuine) Puma bonnet and ordered all the associated parts that went with it including the new stay, mounting- brackets, clips etc.

Not my photos but I copied them from another post where someone had been asking about the correct stay & brackets for fitting a Puma bonnet to an earlier vehicle.
The photo showing the underside of the bonnet shows how the pressed-steel stay bracket is pop-riveted to the underside of the (metal) bonnet, Puma bonnets come with this pressed-steel bracket already welded to the frame.
Do you have anything similar on your RDX bonnet?

Thanks for the info, it never occurred to me to get the other associated bits but I will now of course.
