Hi All, Anyone seen/got a version of Rave that covers the last models before the Freelander 2 (2.2L models)? :confused:

I have got some cd's from fleabay claiming to cover up to 2005 but they don't have the facelift (?) models.
Ours is an '06 TD4 HSE and has a large ECU/CU under the passenger seat - nowt in the Raves I found about that one? Different switch and instrument layout etc.
Always been a hands on Landy type so want to collect as much info as I can before I need it in anger. :rolleyes:
Ex - RR, 110 County, Disco 200TDI >>>> Freelander ????

Good question John. I have recently changed to a "facelift" from a Mk1 and the number of differences is great so I also would be interested in a source of information.

I don't think the 04 TD4 is covered. Beware when buying parts from ebay etc, they will often advise wrong parts as they, and some 'experts' on this group, are not aware of changes. If you can use your local main dealer parts person with your chassis number to find differences.

Just a quick question on Manuals for the Facelift TD4 model freelander i know its not about the RAVE cd but does anyone know if the haynes manual is any good? im looking at buying one?

Mine does not cover the facelift model but it is better than nothing (obvious statement!!). Most of the info is on Rave but possibly quicker to find. If you are doubtful look at one in Halfords or your local library.
It does not cover the V6.

Hi Folks, Oops and do I feel silly? Put on my specs today and looked under the passenger seat with a mirror. Label says LandRover HarmonKardon - big box it's the audio system.
Has anyone out there got a post 04' TD4 manual with Cruise Control fitted?
Is this an option that was never offered?
Still looking for useful data on the facelift models - will post back if I unearth any, thanks.

Been working on the FL electrics using the Rave CD3 & Haynes Manual since I started this thread.
Wow is it it different!! :crazy: :frusty:
Haynes is some help but only shows wiring for/to functions actually being described not all connected wires in the run.
I have a copy of Microcat (ebay from Romainia) March 2008 that helps a lot with where things are and part No's but the Rave CD3 is well outdated.
The files on my CD are dated 25/06/2003 (as available on Green Oval) - has anyone out-there got a later one?
I saw a thread from a LR guy who claimed to have a 2006 Rave CD but the thread died out - may not have covered FL post facelift anyway. :bounce:

I downloaded from Green Oval in October 2008 - file dates were 25/06/2003 from them then.
Post back if you get any later ones on your download - thanks for the info.
Anyone got a later set??
Anything useful for the facelift models - especially electrics??
