RAVE.AHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I downloaded "RAVE", and the Alcohol120%, but i still can't get to view the damn thing. My head gasket is coming in tomorrow, I need some serious freaking help cause I'm going to be clueless about this thing... So anybody out there with more computer knowledge than me, anyway that you could format the "RAVE" information into an Adobe Reader format??? I'm having serious problems here...

The RAVE file is the one for the 2003 Land Rover Freelander V6

if you cant read this file straight away, you need to do one of two things. Either write the image to a CD, using Nero or similar
note you need to write the image to CD, not just write the file. Or you can get hold of a program such as 'Alcohol 120%' which will create a virtual CD drive on your PC, from which the file can be read, this negates the need to write a CD.

Best to put it on CD (or a couple of copies) as youll still have it when PC goes tits up.

dicky - rather than replying to yer pm i'll post it ere so all can see

dripper is right - open the big file that you have downloaded with 120 % (file - open)

this then shows the file in the main window - then right click on it (from within 120 and select "mount" - this will then add a virtual drive to yer PC just as physically adding a new CD or DVD drive would

you can then access the rave CD via your normal windows explorer etc

all of the content is in .pdf format but they wont open with the newer version of the reader so you have to use the version 4 which should install and run when you double click the green laand rover icon that is within the root of the CD contents folder
