Rattling front doors Defender 110

I have replaced the door seals on my 2003 defender 110 however, the front doors rattle like mad when I go over any kind of bump in the road.
Are there seals which can be added to the actual door itself to reduce the amount of rattling? The worst of the rattle is at the top of the door where it is metal on metal.
All suggestions welcome.

Have you re-aligned the doors from the hinges so they sit on the seals or are the hinge pins worn.
Open the door then lift the door up & down an see if they have any play.

Thank you. Would it be a case of loosening the hinges and lifting the door and then tightening the hinges again once the door presses against the seal?
