Morning People
I have an intermittent rattling coming from the fan area i have had a new waterpump fitted i was just wondering if it could be the viscous coupling any ideas it only rattles when its on tick over and you cant hear it inside the car .
 
Could be the new pump bearing are shot... who fitted it? My friend had the same thing when he fitted a new water pump to his P38. Try taking your fan off and running it then no rattle its the fan. Rattle its your pump/something else...

Is the fan-cover seated properly? Little lugs in the bottom and the clips on at the top?
