Rapseed..

I was used with my old VGoldf TDI adding 1L rapseed oil / full...i have planed to do the same with the freelander: 2L / full...good to get injectors cleaned...what do you think ? any experience about ?

which version of engine do you have ?

i have a TD4 from 2003...the bmw 2L engine 112 PH.....

I think in the past this was already suggested by some members to do so. I myself have done it once, bought 1 l of the cheapest natural/vegetal oil and put it in the tank while filling it up. The guy at the gas station looked all troubled when he saw me mixing my mayonaise oil in my tank .....

its very good for cleaning injectors ...i think 2L/full tank should be right...i will test it...

tis good go ahead.it may be prudent to wait to just before fuel filter service or have one at the ready....
