rangerover classic steering lock

I have lost the ignition keys for my 1976 classic r/r
i have bought a new lock assy. what is the easyest way to remove the old steering lock/ignition switch on the column

thos snap bolts have to come out, either with a drill and or a drill and easy out.

you may get lucky and be able to tap em loose bit by bit with the end of a chisel or screwdriver turning them.

I will send you a invite to our 2 door rrc group, we used to have it full of posts but they got deleted by a server fail , they should be back soon I hope.

Thanks lads got the lock off by using a c/punch to work the screws round,
must have disturbed the wiring now horn and indicators/hazards dont work now
more work next weekend
