Range Rover Vogue steering wheel motor issue

hi hope someone can help i have a range rover vogue 2003 v8 when i open the door or put the ket in the steering wheel moves down to the floor ! and i have to adjust it back up again, it moves in and out ok has anyone got any suggestions please?

it has set itself to the bottom level on the memory function.

set it to the appropriate level and memorize the setting to number 1 using your seat controls

depends on which number your key is set to ?

does it do it still with the spare key ?

hi all the same with both keys and all the numbers ! what i have noticed is that when you take the key out the steering goes back to normal, and keeps whirring ? until you touch the column adjust it stops whirring? thanks

Should be independant of Memoory position of the seat - it moves to the last position the key was in....

If you select a seat memory position it will then move to the preset position in that memory slot.

I'd put it on Diagnostics and turn that fiunction off......will only wear the motors and mech out anyway through over use

I thought the steering also remember its position to each user / key ?

Turning it off was the first thing I did when I got the All Comms.....

I like the feature though

Won't stop the bracket from breaking still

The tip is not to grab the steering wheel when getting into and out of the car

thanks been loking at the hawkeye dignostic thingy bit pricey !

All Comms from RSW solutions comes in at around £200 ish...

Unlike the Hawkeye, the All Comms will also recalibrate the Air Suspension.
