I think you may be a little confused with the forum.

I saw you were asked to post in the range rover section instead of the scotland section.

That means the entire post. Your post above won't link back to it so nobody will know what you're on about.

Hi looking for advice when I'm braking I get the noise of metal to metal on drivers side rear wheel but car has just been MOTD if I break harder it goes away so just as I gradually break slowly

Hi and welcome

Personally I would remove the wheels and check the pads

There’s also a Range Rover section , more will see ur questions

https://www.landyzone.co.uk/forum/range-rover.10/

Here u go, @Brian r added ur question from the Scotland thread

Also if i may ask as a side note , assume you’ve had the belts and oil pump cover replaced

Hi mate

Indeed thought it better so more people can see the OP thread in this section

Think if I heard metal to metal I would be checking the pads

+1, didn't the MOT pick up on low pad thickness? Check to see If a stone is stuck between the disc and pad

Don’t think they check them do they, as long as it passes the brake performance test

Also the low pad wear warning light may have been disabled

Probably crud around discs, if it was mot’d properly, time for new discs and pads I expect

Or there end up like these, lol
