could someone please give me more info on this,ie,start time, where it will be from and if my 95 range rover qualifies for this event, any info will be greatly appreciated, and i will put a recovery pack on my rangie b4 this or any event.(just in case)

Hi Roddy,

I got a reply from Land Rover Monthly to say to meet up at The Gaydon Heritage Centre for 10.00, ready for a 10.30 run down to Stoneleigh. They didn't ask any particular questions about my RR and didn't specify which vehicles it was for. I would think that given it's a 40th anniversary bash then anything in the range (no pun intended) is good but I don't know for sure. I'm assuming you've not had a reply from them? I mailed them from their link at land Rover Max. Failing that you could always give them a call.

The site says

RANGE ROVER ROAD RUN
As an added attraction to an already buzzing show, we are now celebrating 40 Years of the Range Rover with a Saturday morning convoy of vehicles through the Warwickshire countryside. Sponsored by the good people at Rimmer Bros, run participants will get a goody bag, event plaque and a FREE day ticket to the show. If you are interested in taking part, drop us a line at [email protected]

I don't know if you have to have registered with them first or not.

thankyou very much for your time,i will now make further enquiries once again thankyou.:D

Hello all,

Did anyone make it? It was a good run and great fun. The arena interviews were good and we had one of the v v early classics there too. Obviously the guy interviewing knew his stuff as he knows a cracking P38 when he sees one ;)

I thought the off road course was great fun.

Did you have any luck Roddy?
not really airbag suspension has decided that this is more important than this event, need 3 as 1 is new,so iam now fitting the bloody things, otherwise i would of been there, cheers for the info,i hope it is going well enough for the next event, and i hope you have a great time, sorry i won't be there.:(

Sorry to hear that Roddy. The convoy from Gaydon and the off road course really did make the show. There were loads of stands selling parts etc and demos in the arena from various clubs which were very good. Some brave guy turned up in a Frontera to a Land Rover show. Actually he didn't do too badly in the articulation challenge.

Here are a few piccys anyway.
