The ECU is right at the back of the entre console pretty much under the ash tray so a bugger to get at. There are no external impact sensors on the newer cars, they are internal to the ECU, once triggered, you throw the ECU away. Early cars had sensors on the crush boxes on the end of the chassis legs at the front.

Very rare they fail, why do you think it's faulty? Diagnostics would tell you what is going on.
If a crash sensor has been triggered, they supposedly cannot be repaired. I have one with a triggered sensor but have never got round to trying to fix it.
Diagnostics is telling me it's the seats what is in the seats.that is my 3rd rotary coupler and they make a beep twice but no fault comes up and the airbag fault is still there

A list of stuff to check/replace.
Inside and just above the glove box there is a plug for the dash airbag. Check, clean or hard wire It.
Under the foot plate plastics on each side there are other srs plugs that lead to the seat belt rollers. Consider these also and as Keith says under each seat. These are the seat side air-bags snip and hard wire these. 👍

Ok thanks

I don't know that kit but it's possible the fault it recorded is not the actual fault.
Look under the drivers seat, there is a yellow connector, disconnect and reconnect it and see what you get.
Hi I have no yellow connectors under my seats just 2 White ones SRS on all the time bulbs r ok
