Range Rover L322 Newbie

Hi All, recently purchased my first ever Range Rover, it's L322 4.4 V8 petrol. Cleaning up well, but, I have no drive from gearbox. I've had a look through the threads and now have an idea, but would appreciate your knowledge and experience.

Gear selection comes up on dash and goes from High to Low Range, but just won't budg?

Give as many details as possible including what you suspect and help/advice should come, the gearbox guru may even see it (hes not on much), Like when the oil was last changed although you may be past that, They are not known to be the strongest auto box, which is a shame cos they are lovely cars.
