Gotta be money or they can **** right off.

Bartering was a very efficient system before cash was invented. So it doesn't have to be about pound notes but maybe reaching an agreement that is suitable to both parties.

I know Deasy would love edd to have a look at his water works. :D

Bear in mind that they are a profit making company and there should be something given in return. As Funkykipper says, it doesn't have to be money - could be a slutty whore or a slap-up meal.

The Op is posting this all over the place and remember this?:

I'm led to believe they sell the cars off on Classic Cars For Sale.

Yep i thought it sounded familiar that name. Remember that post before. He must of forgot he posted in the forum before and re-registered. Makes me think he has joined alot of forums just to post this! :scratching_chin:

Ive also done some work for them i think! Im sure i was best boy electric on one of there productions a year or so ago!

god you lot are a miserable bunch some times.

I am sure it would be possible to come to some agreement with the production company - food for the day, a full spit and polish on the RR, etc. and you get to go and hang around a tv set for a day.

Not everything in life has to revolve around financial gain.

If i was working on a TV show and wanted the best vehicle in it's class i would post on every forum i could find relating to that car and see what people come up with... exactly like they are doing.

Aye, no probs. The OP made no mention of doing anyone a little favour, or providing even tea 'n scones. The OP has posted over at Full Fat Range Rover so I assume someone from there might do it, although the postings were not encouraging.

As I said before, they are a profit making enterprise.

As has also been said before just because a company tries to make a profit it doesn't mean they who own it are sat on the Costa Blanca lounging by the pool while those at home fleece your cash.

For many, the profit is reinvested in new upgraded kit to make something good a damn sight better.

Not all capitalism is wrong. What is wrong is greed.

Now then, where the frook is psulli with my San Miguel and Deasy work harder!!!!! :D :D :D

yeh, i mean it's not as if we're all sat on a comfy padded seat watching the world fly by and occasionally sounding a horn for the hell of it or anything...

You mean being driven around in taxi's, complaining about salaries and how crap the job is but only working six months of the year?

Yeah as if!!!!! :D

yes... taxi's - except without the worry of having to steer - or break for other idiots or anything... like if taxi's were on some kinda, i dunno... track? :D

Never heard of Wheeler Dealers? what channel's that on ?
They did the P38 yonks ago, but unlike previous and following shows where they fixed parts as it is all done on a shoe string, they just said "yeah, EAS compressor is shagged, new one on the bay!" "Satnav ain't working? Buy a new one!" That bit was funny as it only needed the CD/DVD. "Headlight broken? No worries buy a new one from a breakers. Who cares if it is a facelift model? Non-facelift is cheaper."

I imagine the L322 would be more of the same "we can't fix that, buy a new one."
