Range Rover Entertainment system

I have recently purchased a range rover sport with a DVD entertainment system factory fitted, can anyone tell me if this system plays DVD films? I have loaded the films in the tray and all I get is "no disc" on the screen.... thanks

No. You need to buy a toyota.

I would think if it is a DVD system it should play DVDs , it may be the DVD format is it a copy ?, try a different DVD if it don't work scrap it

It's not a re-import is it? If so it might not be set up for European DVDs.
If that's not your problem then load and eject a disc and see if it has rotated. If not then the player is knackered.
If it's spinning then try loading a cleaning disc to clean the lens.
If that doesn't work then your fooked.
