I hadn't thought of that. I bet postage aint gonna be cheap up there anorl.

I wouldn't call rebuilding a series a 'little' project. It took me flippin ages to do mine when I had my old 109.

I bet you end up with all them radio control cars.:D:D:D

The remote controlled planes and boats would be better....cut out the postman and fly/ship in your own supplies. You could have your own minature delivery service.

it's just standard Royal Mail postage costs, Screwfix will deliver for free for orders over £40 ish - just takes a day or 2 longer to get there. Top Gear did a race the letter thing from a little shed/house not far from ours up there. RC cars are for kids - am looking forwards to getting me helicopters going again up there ;)

Bigger things will take some getting up there so we'll be plaining our holiday around collecting cheap engines and lumps of rusty things in the future - i've got 2 block built 20 foot by 80 foot sheds up there and am concerned about them being big enough

could always get yerself a couple of ISO containers as emergency storage.;):p

I want to get myself a radio control submarine. I think it'd be good fun for me and provide plenty of exercise for my fish.:p:p:p

i used to live in Derby and there was a club that used to use Markeaton Parks boating lake to sink their subs in - there was days when there were 20 grown men watching 20 - inch high sticks (which i assume were supposed to be periscopes) whizzing around the lake - what's the point of a sub, ya can't see the fooking thing !

i asked to join as i had a 10cc power RC hovercraft, they banned me after 20 minutes for breaking 6 of their periscopes off

Them only fun if they has cameras on them and the ability to shoot ducks.:D:D

i have my eyes on a couple of them, thinking of coating the outside with bitumen then covering them with soil to create a mound in the fields

I have a 4ft deep 15ft x 20ft garden pond. My patio sticks out over the top of it so I could see a sub ok. Don't think the fish would be overly impressed though. They sunk my ex mates hovercraft.:p:p:p
