Range rover asking for a code to start engine

Hi everyone new to this so bear with me. Got a problem with me dads 2002 l322 v8 range rover. The battery went flat over a couple of days when he tried to open the car it wouldnt unlock. He put key in door unlocked it then recharged the battery. Key now unlocks the car turns on ignition but wont start just got code_ _ _ _ on dash help !!!!!

The earlier L322's hade a Code function built into the SatNav / Radio / Infotainment system that can be set before you turn the car off, and requires it to be input before it will start the car.

It has been known in Bimmers that it can happen when the battery is flat, have you tried 0000.....

Else do some research on BMW E38 (7'er), E39 (5'er) and E53 (X5'er) security codes and see if there is something you can glean from there.
