How much fuel have you got in the tank? I would check the in tank pump as a first step.

I would have thought 30 on a steep hill looked quite fast from the passenger seat of a recovery vehicle.

You should know as yours is a diesel and when your GM box cries enough you won't even make that speed

no but until it breaks it will still be going past the 2.5 DSE P38's in a flash
already budgeted on one - i dont even know if mine has been refurbed yet - cant be the original ? lol

I have an image of him standing out in the drizzle with a torch under the bonnet.
Prim then calls from the porch "Darling, there's a man on a website who says there's no point looking for the MAF because there isn't one".
Prim, you owe it to yourself to ask "Is that pipe from under the manifold to the fuel filter in good condition. It looked a bit frayed to me when I peered over your shoulder".

G is very kindly pointing out the small pipe from under the manifold to the MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) sensor....
This little fellow gets split or gummed up.....the MAP sensor tells the ECU the boost pressure to ensure correct fuelling....
