Hello all, some time ago I accidentally positively charged my engine ecu which resulting in the car not starting, this issue was resolved by earthing the ecu to the body. Now, quite randomly, the car just refused to start, no ignition, nothing, now I changed the fob batteries thinking it could be that as they were apparently low, and the car started. However, the issue returned and upon wiggling the wire from the ecu it works.

Unfortunately this wiggling now doesnt work either, you can sometimes get the ignition on but when you attempt to start it just clicks and dies, the battery is relatively new but all power to the car is lost because the clock dies and when you do start it all the windows need resetting etc. Any help greatly appreciated.

Lol sorry, the one under a hose next to the alarm sounder held by a 8mm bolt, well it was that one but it's now where the cable goes into the battery clamp.
