Freelander 1 Rally Freelander driven in anger on Top Gear

So sat watching a segment of top gear yesterday done by the hamster about a group of ex servicemen who were prepping to do the paris dakar by doing timetrials in a frelander 1 good to see a freelander being used in anger!
series 17 episode 6 if you want to watch the whole bit

And, contrary to popular belief, the doors didn't fall off.

Remember that, was awe inspiring seeing them complete the Dakar , done it in a wildcat defender

Is that the v6 one ur talking about , think one of the members here owned it, or useto , think it was @RealBeale was the guys name ??

No K series I think they say in prog that the lad driving slips the clutch as he's got no feeling in his left aftificail foot so got a light on dash so he knows when hes doing it

From memory it was a V6 with a manual box conversion.
