Radio will not shutdown with ignition , check the plug 1 pin goes off with key another pin stays hot. Thinking a relay but where ? Anyone have this problem?

Perhaps someone has wired it to stay on when the ignition off. Whip it out (trying to keep it clean) and look at the wiring.

One pin stays live for the program memory.

Permanent live for memory comes from fuse 1. Radio is switched by relay 7 in BECM from fuse 8. If it's not going off someone has had a play with it.

Could be an internal fault on the radio, I have seen it happen before.
