Radio/Head unit stopped working

Hi all

I was wondering if someone could offer some advice please, as I have a problem with my 2006 TD4 sport premium.

A few weeks ago the radio simply stopped working, no response when I press the power button. I've check the radio and sound system fuses and they are ok. I tried disconnecting the battery to try and reset it, but that didn't work, although the cd did make a self test cycle noise.

On one occasion over the past 3 weeks it started working, but has stopped again now, very frustrating.

Thanks guys any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Could be as simple as the on off switch. Try some contact cleaner.

No, take the unit out, carefully remove the case, then you should be able to spray the switch from the top.
