Radio from Discovery 3

Just bought a Range Rover Sport 2005 and the radio buttons seem to have given up the ghost. The radio header unit says 6CD 545 . I have a much better condition 6CD 465 from my old discovery 3.
Question: Does anyone know if there is any reason why this could not be fitted into the range rover as a straight swap ( although different model numbers it os newer than the 6cd 545).

UPDATE
I removed the Radio Head Unit from the Discovery after checking that the Range Rover Sport currently installed has same type/number of connectors.
they appeared to be the same size unit but I did have problems getting the swapped units into each car !
Anyhow, now my RRS has a radio/cd head with working buttons - Sorted.
