Hi folks, so my Freelander 2, Black and White edition, 2.2 Td has gone a bit weird of late...the radio display now looks like this:

Here's the serial and part nos.

Is this repairable? Hardware at fault? Software at fault?
I did powercycle and it reverted to normal for a while but soon defaulted to scrambled lines...

Thanks in anticipation for any hints or fixes.

It could be a hardware or software issue. Best run a diagnostic on the system and see what comes up.

I'm wondering if it's a hardware issue with the LCD driver circuit, or the connectors to the LCD panel.

I expect a second hand LCD would be pretty cheap, if you can find one on Ebay.

Hi there - I have run into the same issue recently and have just sent you a PM - hoping you found a solution or at least the part. It seems quite unusal to only have the radio/cd LCD screen rather than the SatNav version which is readily available on ebay. It is the LCD version I am struggling to track down...and help would be gratefully received!

My best pics are on this thread Nick. I'lllook at my ebay purchase history for you.

Seller was rcbeynon on ebay...they have nothing similar at the moment.
That’s really good of you. Thanks for trying. I’ll look them up on eBay and see if I can track one down. So I assume switching it out worked? Thanks
