Hi guys my disco only has a radio casette player and i dont have any casettes is there a radio cd player upgrade that i can get and still use the dash buttons as i want to keep as many original features as possible .
Thanks guys
Andy

my disco 1 when i got it had a hole where the radio should be and a landrover 10 CD multichanger under the drivers seat that apparently works with the dash buttons so i would say yes.

just thought, if its fitted with a radio why dont you get a cheap ipod/MP3/something similiar that has a FM TRANSMITTER. (you can even buy external ones for your laptop online for about 20 quid) My nokia N97 phone has got a built in 1, then all you have to do is put your tunes onto your device, set the transmitter to say 90.00FM and then turn your radio on and tune it to that frequency to hear your tunes through your original radio. You could turn it up and down using the dash buttons but to select/skip track etc you would have to press the buttons on the ipod/similiar device. (not sure about the legality of that either). hope this helps.

You could use JVC, Pioneer Alpine or Kenwood with Autoleads adaptors.Thats what I fitted on mine, works a treat, and I got a JVC 12 disc running from it as well. I can also plug my i-pod into the JVC unit I fitted.
Never short of tunes. Just wish I could afford the DAB unit to complete the deal.LOL!!!
