Does anyone know of a good company that can supply a good rad for my 4l v8 90 or upgrade the one I have.

I have had a few cooling issues with it but thats all been sorted now and it runs about 1/3 of the way up the temp gauge. But this is at the moment durring the cold months. Come summer time I want to take the kids up the mountains etc but don't want it to overheat. I have kenlow fans on the radiator but they don't seem to bring the temp down as quick as I would expect.I have flushed the rad through and given it a good clean, I just wonder if its time to have a new one... Are there any off the shelf rads thats better than the standard ones?

I have the 2.5TD rad (built in oil cooler) on my 3.9 V8 with a single leccy fan and a Radtek fan controller Temp sits at just under half way. Fan only needs to come on if you leave it idling for a while. Seems to work.

Came from Paddocks. Think the part number is NTC6168.

Thanks guys thats all really useful information, I will ring those numbers tomorrow and see what advice they have. Maybe that's my problem, perhaps it needs a oil cooler as well?

I found this rad on ebay, item number 110620470750. Is this the type of thing that would help, probably can't answer that unless its fitted and tested.

Bearmach supply a HD rad for the rangey/disco off the shelf

cost me just short of 200, but it is a beats 4 row jobby

has lowered my temps considerably, although my original was pretty shagged anyway.

it also wont direct fit into a 90 without some adjustment.

maybe hammoj's suggestion is best?
