Hi,

Decided I need to flush the coolant and fill in new one but I'm a bit puzzled. There seem to be two bleed screws (or at least thingies that look like bleed screws)

One is on top of the thermostat and another one closer to the radiator (on a hose).

So, which 'un I use to get rid of air?

Thanks

Both.

Fill the coolant expansion tank to the mark, then fill the radiator to the top via the bleed screw and refit, then fill the thermostat to the top through the bleed screw and refit.

refit the black plastic ones at your peril-they fall apart.Get 1/2"bsp brass ones-B&Q sell em-or radiator bleeds

They don't seal. I tried those but they wind straight through, unless yu have a huge amount of gunk or plumbing tape wrapped around them. That's why I went for the shouldered ones.
