I'm considering rebuilding my R380 gearbox. I have various pulling tools and a press at home. Is it possible without the use of the proper tools? I've tried a search, but its a nightmare on a phone. Any links to a how to would be great

yes ,i use a floor standing hyd press and a set of bearing seperators, pinion inner bearing race can be very tight welding around the race will shrink it

Why spend £20? You could have just downloaded this :D:D:D

Sorry to be smug :)

Cos then ya have to buy a printer to print it out and ink cartridges etc. or ya have to have a pooter in the workshop to constantly refer to. which is gonna get covered in ****e And if ya don't have leccy will probably have the battery die before ya get the engine out let alone start on the rebuild.. Paper Manual is much simpler and les hassle and as they've been perfectly fine and usable Since the Egyptians invented Papyrus. I see no reason to abandon the Principle in favour of a PDF file.

Hee Hee I like that answer.
I agree with most of it. Except the printer bit. Ialready have one so just print as and when.
But like you and cd's - it's always nice to have the original!!!
Nice one
