R380 output shaft and V8 input shaft

As per title need those items as output is snagged and the input is a 300tdi one

do you mean input gear for transfer box or actual mainshaft for gearbox as mainshaft change is full strip down all gears etc

Input gear I think, si broke them apart earlier for me and said the splines from the shaft were stripped the ones that put them together

splines on both will be very poor then gearbox will need rebuilding

Ahhh bugger, well ill see how it is once I've had a look. Was free anyway so no loss if it gets binned

What would need doing on a rebuild if both sets are worn ?

to change m/s needs full strip it will most likely be best to fit new bearings and new outer baulk rings at the same time ,google these parts , tud101270,ftc3584 x 4 ,ftc5018 x2 ,ukc8l,stc1628,ftc248,ftc317,rtc6751,ftc2385,ftc3371, ftc5303 and ftc2383 i have got good used v8 input shafts
