Every penny ever spent on my P38 was repaid with interest today. We did a 600km round trip in 12 hours on unbelievably rough country roads and we did it in perfect comfort. Anyone you ask around here will tell you its a 15 hour trip that will hammer your spine in the process. I had the 2 1/2 tonne rangie airborne on more than one occasion and at the end of it all my passenger and I stepped out of the car without a single kink. Ladies and gentlemen, this machine does exactly what is says on the tin. Full stop! Yes there are a few more creaks from the plastic trim, something's rattling inside one of the doors and one rear mudflap's hanging by just one bolt. That's not much all considering and obviously will be sorted out by this time tomorrow! :):):)

Nice 1, glad all went well ! :)

Good to hear someone using a Rangie for some off-road action, really need to have a go with mine some point soon. Last time I off-roaded was with a series 3, far less bothered about damaging that !

Boom Boom. lol

It is good to hear about a working P38 for a change, especially as mine is still going strong 4 days and 250 miles later and all on around £30 or so LPG, bloody great :)

Thanks guys. Still grinning from ear to ear - it was FUN!

But still and all, I can't escape the feeling I was probably lucky and shouldn't push my luck by doing this too often. That's what RR ownership does to you.
