why not if hand brake on wheels chocked ,you can loosig it and run through gears then check it you dont have to run through gears while checking level

Appreciate that...but I am a bit of a H&S wimp....
Warm Exausts, rotating gubbins etc....sounds like a recipe for disaster

whats going to be rotating ,you aint near fan,do it when cold ,lift truck to highest position,is easy

Never a truer word spoken....as you know Tony, in the industry we share, it is all about H7S, Safety Instructions, Operational Saftey Reports, failsafe this, double check that....blah blah blah....you are always looking at what could happen and then design the product accordingly...I am sad as I am always over think everything....Naaah. You need to get out of the office more.
I guess when you have it plugged into your head 24/7 it is difficult to switch off...
