Puma Derfender. Holes by rear num plate???

Hay all.

On my 2010 Puma 90, there are four threaded holes (look like brass rivets) Any idea what these are? they are positioned around the number plate (a few inches from the plate) One is a bit rusty and has started blistering the paint around it. iv no idea what they are

heres a photo. there are 4 of these holes. All look to be brass and are threaded. Any ideas?

Maybe its from light guards if its had previous owner and taken them off?

Good call but I dont think so as the four holes are only on the number plate side of the vehicle. the other side has none

Hey thats a good one mate. never thought of the ladder. They are no bigger thaan the small rivets so doubt would be strong enough. Still you could be right
