Pulling all of a sudden..

Weird one this. Had my disco for around a month now and the steering has been straight as an arrow, even with worn tyres. Had brand new tyres fitted to the front last Friday and ever since it's pulled to the left?? Baffled. I'm thinking it might be coincidence and the nearside caliper is sticking? Tyre pressures are all spot on. Worst case scenario the tyre fitters have jacked up the car in a weak spot and something is bent?? Anyone got any theories?

If it is the caliper how easy/difficult would it be to free up?

Wheel swap makes sense.. Could also check whether wheel is sticking while it's up..

...But you are right in that the brake calipers can stick, had this a couple of times on different Disco TD5's. If you think that's the case, beware they don't overheat. After a bit of a run, see if one of the front calipers is hot, that should give a good indication.

If it's a caliper, then it'll need removed to be sorted or replaced. They aren't too expensive, I see them advertised for the £30 mark on fleabay and of course if it's possible to do them yourself, that'll keep costs down, or add labour onto the cost.
